Adobe Premiere Pro not installing

My company provided me with Adobe Premiere Pro installation files. I tried to install it on Windows 10 64 bits. When i clicked the installer MSI file, it would pop up a dialog "Gathering required information", the progress bar would fill till about 80%, stall, suddenly a new bar would pop up with a progression bar running backwards, all windows would close,no error, thanks.

After searching for the solution, the following worked for me:

1. "open elevated Command Prompt. To do so, type CMD in Start menu or Start screen search box, and then simultaneously press Ctrl+Shift+Enter keys." (as described here)
2. i browsed to the installer file (using CD commands and DIR to check the contents of the folder you're in)
3. i used "msiexec /i Adobe_Premiere_Pro_12.1.1.msi" to install Adobe
