Will check.in support Facebook Places? Not soon.

As you don't want the hussle of several apps for checking in, like FourSquare, Gowalla etc, i started using check.in, an app for iPhone (and Android), i wondered whether the BrightKite check.in app would (soon) support Facebook Places. I did not find info on that, so i emailed them, and just got this reply: "We currently have no plans for check.in incorporating with Facebook Places at this time. We will keep our users posted with any updates in the future". Too bad.
