Android is a Google initiative for a next gen phone platform. It has been in the works, and current results were shown on a recent gathering. Looks impressive!
The actual demo starts at 1 minute 50 or so. And have a look at the end: streetview on the Android phone, and the phone even knows in what direction you are faced!
Available in 2008? Wonder whether the features, price and user interface are any competition for the iPhone.
