Scientists have put the way humans have impacted our oceans in a picture (whole story at Wired). The biggest part of the earth is covered by oceans, and we've managed to impact most of it already. And that in about 100 years of industrialisation?! What an accomplishment! Let's move out to space!
Update Feb 27th: it turns out national parks are more polluted than thought as well.
