The single most important picture humans ever took?
This ESA deep-field clip shows how many stars there are in the universe, based upon findings by the Hubble telescope. I can't help getting a little emoitional by things like this. It's mind boggling. What is out there? What about other life? The possibilities. And the threats of course, although i tend to focus less on those ;-). I recently saw the movie "what the heck we know/what the bleep we know"... Had a similar effect on me. Science is great in many ways (although i also have the idea sometimes scientists loose track of reality and their efforts seem to be les helpfull ;-)).
