Dynamics CRM error: invalid recipient type

While working with Dynamics CRM, a workflow threw me this error: "invalid recipient type" (Dutch: "Ongeldig type geadresseerde"). This was after we made a backup of one environment and restored it in a dev environment. After checking some stuff i decided to try click “Publish all Customizations” (Dutch: "Alle aanpassingen publiceren").
